
Ron is the Chief Investment Officer at Lafayette Square. He is responsible for managing portfolio allocation strategies, security selection, and long-term investment policies. His primary duties include reviewing and rebalancing client portfolios and monitoring financial markets. Prior to Lafayette Square, Ron was a principal and CFO at Litman Gregory Asset Management where he worked for 28 years. Ron also worked at Deloitte, Bank of America, and Bechtel.
Ron’s experience includes working with high-net-worth clients, performing market research and analysis, succession planning for small businesses, and small company valuation analysis. He has created or made significant contributions to software projects used for portfolio rebalancing, capital sufficiency analysis, and evaluating complex option positions. Ron holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and has taught portfolio theory to CFA® candidates and financial planning classes to CFP® candidates. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
